    • Junior Curling Easter Week

Due to the number of cancellations in the past couple of weeks, there will be junior curling every day next week for the afternoon program. This will be the last week of curling for the year. This is necessary to complete the Hot Shots and to make sure we get people's pictures. If you have not completed Hot Shots and want to, please make sure that you attend next week's sessions. As well, if your child has yet to have their picture taken please ensure that they do so next week.

Banquet tickets will remain on sale next week at the club.

    • Curling schedule changes. Banquet tickets on sale.

There will be no curling on March 21st, because it is Good Friday. Next week (March 17th - 21st) is the last week of Junior Curling. However, in order to finish Hot Shots, there will be Junior Curling for Friday Curlers on March 28th.

A reminder to parents that banquet tickets are on sale at the club and we will be selling them next week as well. Please get your tickets ASAP so we can finalize the numbers.

Congratulations to all who competed in the U-15 and U-17 NLCA Championships, hosted last weekend at Bally Haly and RE/MAX Centre. There were 31 teams competing, showing that we have plenty of talent across the island. Thanks also to Barb, Eugene, Leslie Ann, Tish, Garry, Frank, Paul and Scott in helping make this a fun and successful tournament for the players coaches and parents. Our own Scott Henderson won the Mens Under 17 and will compete at the Atlantics to be held in Halifax, the team will be looking for support to offset the costs of travel.

As these precious ones are somewhat unaccustomed to moving about on an ice surface many parents are involved in guiding them. Your help would be much appreciated.
