Registration Dates
    For Returning Afterschool and Family Curling members ... Monday, September 21st, 7-9pm

    For New Afterschool and Family Curling members ... Tuesday, September 22nd, 7-9pm

Additional Registration Date
    For those of you that have not yet registered for the 2009/10 afterschool / junior curling program, an additional registration will be held on Thursday October 1st, 7-8pm at the ReMax Centre (St. John’s Curling Club).

    Again we will be offering a 20 plus week program. As a guide: Monday or Tuesday, 10-13yrs, Thursday or Friday, 14-18 yrs. The cost remains at $140 / $115 second child.

    We are hoping to start next week if the ice is ready. There will be a follow-up notice later this week.

October 8, 2009
Curling starts on Monday
    Please be advised that we will be starting our afterschool curling program on Monday October 12th at 3:30pm.

    We realize that Monday is a holiday and some of you might be out of town or have family commitments. Hope you can make it.

    If any of you would like to bring a friend to try curling for the 1st week, please feel free to do so. We currently have lots of space for additional curlers.



General Information


Tim Horton's Family Curling
Children aged 5-10 may curl on Saturdays from either 8am -9am or from 9am to 10am.

As these precious ones are somewhat unaccustomed to moving about on an ice surface many parents are involved in guiding them. Your help would be much appreciated.

After School Curling
Ice Time is available from:
    3:30 - 5:30pm Mondays & Tuesdays for ages 10-13 (Grade 5-8)
    3:30 - 4:30pm Wednesdays - rotating technical clinics 
    3:30 - 5:30pm Thursdays & Fridays for ages 14-20 (Grade 9 - Post Secondary)

Club policy states:
Children under the age of 16 are prohibited from playing in evening (adult) curling.
Those over the age of 16 but under the legal drinking age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. They are to arrive at the club no more than 30 minutes before the scheduled game time and are asked to leave no more than 30 minutes after the game has finished.
