Please Note: 1/3 of your total membership must be paid before participating in any curling activity. All memberships are due in full by October 31, 2011.

A copy of the SJCA membership list will be posted on the SJCA website providing member's names and phone numbers. The list will be password protected and available to members only. Email addresses and Civic addresses will not be provided. As an example, the list will assist members seeking spares and informing others of re-scheduled or cancelled games.

MEMBERSHIP DEFINITIONS

CATEGORY	DEFINITION
Full Single	Member eligible to curl in all SJCA leagues, weeknight and morning
Full Single (60+)	Member who has reached 60 years of age by December 31st of that curling year. Eligible to curl in all SJCA weeknight & morning leagues
Couple	Combined fee for members who register as a spousal couple. Couple must live at the same address. Eligible to curl in all SJCA weeknight & morning leagues.
Student	Member who is registered full time in an education institution and at least 16 years of age. Eligible to curl in all SJCA weeknight & morning leagues. Other stipulations may also apply.
Morning	Member who curls in the morning league only.
New Member	Member who is relatively new to curling and was never a member of another curling club or association. Other stipulations may apply. Eligible to curl in all SJCA weeknight & morning leagues.
New Couple	Combined fee for new spousal members. Couple must live at the same address. They were never a member of another curling club or association. Other stipulations may also apply. Eligible to curl in all SJCA weeknight & morning leagues.
Honorary Member	Member who has obtained Honorary status as directed by the membership. All fees are waived. Eligible to curl in all SJCA weeknight & morning leagues.
Social	Non curling social member.
Social Couple	Non curling social spousal couple. Couple must live at the same address.
Social Spouse	Non curling spouse of a curling member.
Other	Sponsor, board approved discounts, staff and other membership categories as deemed necessary by the board.

Notes:

1. A copy of the SJCA membership list will be shared internally via the SJCA website and Club Board located at the RE/MAX Centre, which may show member’s names, phone numbers and email addresses only, as supplied by members. Other information, including civic addresses will not be disclosed. The membership list will assist members seeking spares and informing others of re-scheduled or cancelled games.

Personal information regarding the SJCA membership will not be shared with third parties, with the exception of the NLCA and CCA. A copy of each membership form may be provided to accountants retained by the SJCA, but the use of personal information by such individuals is strictly limited to accounting purposes only.

2. Members who are not at least 19 years of age as of September, 2011 are not eligible to be included in the weekly membership draw. Should the member reach the age of 19 during the membership year, it is the responsibility of the member to inform the Membership Director of same, at which time the member will be included in the membership draw.
